On the 29th of this month, Horizon Youth Programme will be holding the first edition of the Horizon Parliament simulations!!
In line with our Mission, our committee selection entails vital parts of the Indian Government and Judiciary.
We are partnering with various Municipal schools of the Navi Mumbai District; we are conducting the simulations at the Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC).
The three committees are:
- The Lok Sabha
- The Rajya Sabha
- The Supreme Court

The Lok Sabha
Hrishabh has experience of over 10 MUNs including the Harvard Model Congress Asia. He has been part of the electoral board for two previous MUNs which makes him the ideal chair as he is a combination of experience and tact.
Aashna Suvarna is a compassionate lady who is ever ready to help and encourage anyone who wishes to excel at something. Having participated in 3, and have been on the Executive Board for 2 MUN’s she ever is ready and exuberant to make this experience a memorable one for all the participants.
Agenda: Discussing the current Tax policies in India and suggesting reforms.
The Rajya Sabha
Chaitanya Shah is now in his fourth year of MUNning and the highlight of all his MUNs so for has been the high commendation he received at the Harvard Model Congress Asia. He has an intense passion for MUNning which follows through while he is a member of the electoral board of the committee.Even though this is the first time he is chairing a committee, he will do his level best to maintain his high standards.
Jahanvi is a bubbly, action packed co-chair who will make sure that the committee session never lacks enjoyment. The ex-head girl is a responsible and diligent worker who has served as the Press Head for the Nagpur Youth Summit and is also part of the electoral Board of the International Youth Conference.
The Supreme Court
The ever-smiling Parth Patel is one of the calm and composed MUNners. Often underestimated due to his smile and lanky frame, he can land a real punch, both in real life and in committee. This will be the first time Parth takes control of a committee but expect him to rise up to the challenge.
Aadhya Kocha, president of her schools’ student council and a girl with utmost patience is the perfect cochair for this MUN. Attending many MUNs and even winning business simulations, she comes with the right amount of experience to be able to instil these skills here
